Florida BRT Corrections – Responding to Incidents and Emergencies Practice Exam

Logistics handles acquiring and tracking resources in ICS. It ensures the incident has the personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, and services needed, then obtains them, stag es or delivers them as required, and keeps an up-to-date inventory so you know what’s on hand, what’s on order, and where everything is. This function coordinates ordering, provisioning, transportation, storage, and distribution, and maintains the resource status to support planning and operations decisions. The Planning Section uses that resource information to shape the Incident Action Plan, but it does not perform the actual provisioning. Finance/Administration deals with contracts and cost management, while Command provides overall leadership and transfer of authority.
